Buttons
The disabled button plays boundary — the sound of a polite no. It uses aria-disabled, because a real disabled button fires no events at all — so nothing could ever hear the click.

Every sound on this page is synthesised at the moment you trigger it, from a —-character token. Nothing is fetched, nothing is decoded, nothing is cached. Swap the pack and the whole interface changes voice.

One attribute, two sounds — toggle-on and its mirror toggle-off.
Multi-pulse slots peak around 0.70 and single-pulse ones around 0.08 — overlapping pulse tails summing. Match levels applies 1/√pulses. Audition both ways and trust your ears, not the numbers.
Every play is jittered a few cents, so a burst never machine-guns — and repeats inside 45ms are dropped rather than stacked. This is the thing a .wav cannot do: a file is bit-identical forever.
Editable. Paste someone else's token and this page changes voice on the spot — that is the whole distribution mechanism. Twelve coherent interface sounds, short enough to fit in a caption.
